KARACHI (Kashmir English): Former Pakistan cricket team captain Sarfaraz Ahmed, now the Test team coach, is mourning the loss of his brother-in-law, Amir Waheed Siddiqui, who has unfortunately passed away, leaving behind many family members, friends, and the cricket community to mourn his death.
Amir Waheed Siddiqui breathed his last on Monday in Oman, where his funeral prayers were performed, and he was buried in a local cemetery.
Family members, relatives, and friends gathered in prayers for his forgiveness and eternal peace in the other world and also for their own strength and patience in this difficult period.
The deceased was the younger brother of Zia Siddiqui, who is a known figure in the cricket community of Karachi.
