TURBAT (Kashmir English): Six non-local laborers who were abducted by armed militants in the Kech district of Balochistan have been killed by the brutal Fitna-ul-Hindustan, according to official reports.
The laborers were kidnapped on July 27, 2026, from the Kalatak, Sorag Bazar, Degri Kahan area of Kech after one laborer from Swabi was shot dead during the attack.
The victims included four workers from Punjab, including Muhammad Arshad from Lodhran, Muhammad Taimur from Bahawalpur, Muhammad Parvez (Bahawalpur), Muhammad Wazir (Bahawalpur).
Two workers from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Muhammad Amjad (Salala Bazar) and Muhammad Yahya from Swabi. Authorities said the abducted laborers were found dead after being killed by their captors.
The victims were employed on development projects in Balochistan, where they were working on infrastructure and construction activities.
The incident comes days after five laborers from Punjab were killed in the Mashkel area of Balochistan, raising fresh concerns over the security of workers engaged in development projects across the province.
Security forces have launched an investigation into the latest attack, while officials condemned the killing of unarmed laborers and described it as an act of terrorism targeting civilians and efforts aimed at the development of Balochistan.
