QUETTA (Kashmir English): A deadly attack by Fitna al-Hindustan in Baleda Minaz, Balochistan, has claimed the lives of six people, including women and children, after unidentified armed assailants allegedly fired mortar shells and opened indiscriminate gunfire at a residential house during the holy month of Ramazan.
According to local sources, the attackers targeted the home of a resident identified as Abdul Hameed. The assault resulted in the deaths of six members of the family, including minors, while three children sustained injuries.
The house was severely damaged, household belongings were reduced to ashes, and vehicles parked at the site were also reportedly destroyed.
Security forces have launched a search operation in the area to trace those responsible. Officials stated that the operation would continue until the perpetrators are apprehended.
Authorities have strongly condemned the incident, describing it as a heinous act targeting innocent civilians. Further investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances and those involved in the attack.
