MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir Digital): The rain and first snowfall of the winter season in parts of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan have brought down temperatures.
The light snowfall has transformed mountain landscapes in AJK’s Neelum Valley, Bagh, Haveli, and Leepa Valley, while intermittent rain continued in Kotli.
Rain and snowfall were reported on the mountains of Neelum and Leepa valleys, while intermittent rain was recorded in Kotli, Muzaffarabad, and Bagh.
The Neelum Valley administration has advised tourists travelling to upper areas to check weather forecasts and road conditions before setting out and to take necessary precautions in view of the changing weather.
The similar weather pattern also brought rain and snowfall in Gilgit-Baltistan’s Nagar district.
