MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Internal differences within the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Azad Kashmir have come to the fore, with Central Finance Secretary Syed Tasadduq Gardezi separating from the party.

According to sources, after the political alliance with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F, organizational differences and reservations have increased within the Peoples Party Azad Kashmir. Questions are also being raised about the party’s internal discipline.

According to reports, after Syed Tasadduq Gardezi’s resignation, more than 200 workers and several local leaders from District Sudhanoti also announced their separation from the party.

The collective decision of these leaders and workers to leave the party has laid bare unrest and division at the organizational level.

According to political observers, a major reason for the growing differences within the Peoples Party in Azad Kashmir is the recent political alliance and the new alignments that have emerged as a result, which have further increased the concerns of workers at the grassroot level.

Diffrences within PPP ranks

Sources said that communication between different factions within the party has weakened, while many leaders are consulting on their future political strategy.

This situation has not only affected the organizational structure but is also expected to have an impact on the future political landscape.

On the other hand, the party leadership has not yet issued any formal detailed statement on these resignations and separations, as in political circles, this development is being called a significant organizational challenge for the Peoples Party.
