ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has issued advertisements regarding the recruitment process of officers in the ranks of grade 16 and 17.
Applications have been invited for 12 posts of Assistant Director (Legal), grade 17, and 22 posts of Superintendent, grade 16.
The recruitment advertisement has been released via the FPSC and invites applications till 31st August 2026.
Applicants must qualify with an LLB degree and at least two years of practical experience to qualify as an Assistant Director (Legal).
Eligible candidates will be within the age group of 22 to 30 years, with five years’ relaxation available.
Applicants must possess either a master’s degree after 16 years of schooling or a bachelor’s degree after 14 years of education. Besides, candidates will require at least two years of relevant experience.
Applicants must fall within the age limit of 20 to 28 years, again with five years of relaxation available.
According to the advertisement, successful applicants will have to work in any region of Pakistan.
These jobs are presently available temporarily, though according to the advertisement published online, they may get converted into permanent positions later on.

In case of Grade-16 to 17, candidates will have to submit a registration fee of Rs600, while for Grade-18, the fee stands at Rs1500, for BS-19, it is Rs2500, and finally for BS-20 and upwards, it amounts to Rs3000.
This recruitment exercise will most likely draw a huge number of applicants having educational qualifications in the field of law and seeking employment opportunities within Pakistan’s Federal Investigative Agency.
