ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has announced 34 vacancies for Assistant Director and Superintendent positions via the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) as a career opportunity for eligible candidates.
The vacancies consist of 12 Assistant Director (Legal) BS-17 and 22 Superintendents BS-16. The applicants are required to apply online through the FPSC website.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the Assistant Director (Legal) posts are required to have at least a Second Class or Grade C LLB degree from any HEC-recognized university along with two years of post-qualification experience in legal practice, prosecution, and a relevant field.
The applicants for the closed positions must be aged between 22 years and 30 years; however, FPSC extends 5 years of upper age relaxation to candidates as per rules.
The vacancies for Assistant Director positions contain special quotas for Punjab, Sindh Rural, Sindh Urban, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Ex-FATA. Moreover, the recruitment also contains posts reserved for women and minorities.
Applicants for the 22 Superintendent BS-16 vacancies must possess a Second Class or Grade C Master’s degree from an HEC-recognized institution with at least 16 years of education. Those with a Second Class or Grade C Bachelor’s degree supplemented with 14 years of education may also proceed with their application, provided they have gained at least two years of post-qualification experience related to accounts or administration.
Candidates wishing to apply must fill out their application online, as the FPSC does not accept applications via post or hard copies. The application fee for both the BS-16 and BS-17 positions is Rs. 600.
Applicants must generate a PSID after logging onto the FPSC portal and make the payment through a 1-Link-approved ATM,v mobile banking, Easypaisa, or JazzCash network setup.
Additionally, candidates currently working in Government departments must also obtain a Departmental Permission Certificate (DPC) before submitting their application. It is also advisable for the applicants to check all the eligibility criteria and regulations before filling out their application forms through the FPSC portal.
