MIRPUR (Kashmir English): Chairman District Council Mirpur Raja Naveed Akhtar conducted a detailed inspection of the Mangla Entry Point, the gateway to this part of the Himalayan state of Jammu and Kashmir, to make it ideal and beautiful to attract the tourists besides general travelers.
The District Council Chief Officer, Executive Engineer and SDO District Council, as well as technical staff, also accompanied the Chairman.

The officials reviewed the renovation of various places at the entry point bridging Mirpur-AJK with adjoining Jhelum District of Punjab province.
Chairman District Council Raja Naveed Akhtar told media that the Mangla Entry Point will be made beautiful in such a way that every visitor feels welcome when entering the state.
The Chairman District Council said that apart from the Mangla Entry Point, steps will also be taken to make the entire city and district much beautiful and clean.
