KABUL (Kashmir English): After Paktika, a terrorist training center in Koz Bhar area of Khogyani district, Nangarhar, also echoed with explosions.
Earlier, Afghan media claimed that a camp belonging to the militant faction Majlis-e-Askari Karwan was destroyed in Afghanistan’s Paktika province by Pakistani security forces.
The escalation follows a series of deadly cross-border attacks, including a suicide bombing in Bannu on February 21, 2026, which martyred a Lieutenant Colonel and another soldier.
According to sources, several terrorists, including a very important commander, are reported to have been killed in the latest explosion.
According to monitoring reports, a strong blow was dealt to terrorist strongholds as a result of bombing of targets in Afghanistan. Explosions in four major provinces of eastern Afghanistan including Paktika, Paktia, Khost, and Nangarhar have been reported.
According to sources, eight different locations were hit. This operation is seen as a response to recent terrorist activities. According to local reports, more than 10 miscreants were eliminated, their hideouts destroyed, and there are reports of a key commander being eliminated.
