MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Chief Election Commissioner of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has issued the schedule for the election of the President of the State.
According to the schedule, nomination papers for the presidential election will be submitted on September 19, 2026, and scrutinized on the same day, while the deadline for the withdrawal of nomination papers is September 23.
The election for the President of the State will be held on September 24, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Assembly Secretariat in Muzaffarabad.
