MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Board of Revenue Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) has ordered the Deputy Commissioners of all districts in the state to allocate the land for Union Councils.
The letter issued on Friday ordered the concerned DCs to allocate land for the construction of office buildings of Union Councils following the directives of the Supreme Court.
The letter stated, “The DCs should ensure the provision of two (2) kanals of land from the Khalsa Sarkar or Shamlat Deeba area to those Union Council, operating without office buildings.
“A proposal should be made to the Board of Revenue within 15 (fourteen) days so that further necessary action can be taken accordingly,” it stated.
