Dadyal police arrest accused in Rs 8.6 million visa fraud case

MIRPUR (Kashmir English): The Dadyal Police have arrested Raj Wali, the main accused in a visa fraud case, from Rawat, Rawalpindi.

The accused, a resident of Nowshera KPK, and his accomplices had allegedly taken Rs 8.6 million from Danish Mumtaz, a resident of Dadyal in Mirpur, by promising work permits abroad and issuing fake visas in October 2024.

The action led to a 10-year ban on Danish Mumtaz from the British Embassy.

According to the details, the police team, led by Sub-Inspector Naveed Siddique, arrested the accused after a six-month search. The police said that an investigation is underway to find the accused’s involvement in similar fraud cases with other people.
