UPPER NEELUM, AJK (Kashmir English): Notorious dacoit gang from the Kacha area of Sindh have abducted Raja Ahmed Khan, a young man belonging to Upper Neelum, a tourist spot in Neelum Valley of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), from Rawalpindi through deception.

The culprits have demanded a heavy ransom from the heirs of the abductee.

According to details, Raja Ahmed Khan, son of the late Haji Raja Adil, was abducted by Kacha dacoits from Rawat, Rawalpindi after they trapped him under unexplained circumstances.

The dacoits took the young man to Kashmore in the Kacha area and demanded a ransom of 10 million rupees in cash, two iPhones, and a Rado watch from his family.

The dacoits usually abduct young people by luring them into offering cheaper cars, tractors, or livestock, and then demand heavy ransom. It is still unclear how Raja Ahmed fell into their trap.

The government has repeatedly warned people not to get trapped by such elements.

Raja Ahmed’s family has appealed to the government of Pakistan and the Sindh government to take immediate steps for Raja Ahmed Khan’s safe recovery.
