LAHORE (Kashmir English): Senior Pakistani actress Bushra Ansari has revealed a negative experience with Botox, sharing that it caused a portion of her face to droop and altered the shape of her lips.
According to the actress, after the procedure, she slept on the same side of her face where the treatment had been administered. Five to six days later, she noticed that a part of her face had begun to sag, and the appearance of her lips had changed.
Bushra Ansari recounted that she became terrified upon noticing these changes, fearing that she might have suffered a stroke. However, she noted that the doctor dismissed her concerns as merely a figment of her imagination.
The actress shared that this unpleasant experience took a toll on her mental well-being, leading her to stay indoors for several months.
In light of this incident, Bushra Ansari emphasized that doctors should take patients’ concerns seriously. She urged that, prior to any procedure, patients must be clearly informed about potential side effects, risks, and the necessary post-treatment precautions.
