ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The federal government on Friday hiked the petrol price and reduced the diesel price for the next three days, a day after the price of fuel prices were lowered.
According to the notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol was increased by Rs 2.02 per liter, and high-speed diesel (HSD) was lowered by Rs 3.59 per liter.
“The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has revised the ex-depot prices of the petroleum products from September 26 to 28, 2026,” the notification stated.
With the latest revision, the new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 391.30 per liter and diesel at Rs 408.53 per liter.
On September 24, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) reduced the petrol price to Rs 389.28 per liter and the diesel price to Rs 412.12 per liter.
The revised prices are in line with the government’s ongoing policy of issuing fuel prices on a daily basis from Monday to Friday based on international oil markets.
