ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment (BEOE) has listed thousands of overseas job vacancies on its official website, providing Pakistanis seeking employment abroad with a reliable way to find opportunities according to their skills and avoid fraudulent recruitment offers.
The online system allows prospective overseas workers to search for available vacancies and verify whether a job being offered by a recruiting agency is officially registered with the Bureau.
How Pakistanis can verify overseas jobs
According to the available procedure, overseas employment vacancies offered through licensed recruiting agencies are issued after the relevant recruitment process has been reviewed by the Protector of Emigrants.
The Protector of Emigrants grants a recruitment permit to a licensed Overseas Employment Promoter (OEP) for specific vacancies and for a specified period.
Before issuing the permit, the documents submitted by the recruiting agency are examined. The documents are required to be attested by the relevant employer through one of the institutions specified under the Emigration Rules, 1979, including:
- The Pakistani Embassy in the concerned country
- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the concerned country
- The embassy of the concerned country in Pakistan
