LONDON (Kashmir English): Aqaba Aqib, the daughter of former Pakistan international cricketer and head coach of the national cricket team, Aqib Javed, tied the knot in the UK on August 9.
Aqaba’s mother, renowned poet and writer Farzana Aqib, shared her daughter’s wedding photos on social media and expressed gratitude and prayed for a happy and successful married life for both families.
In the wedding photos, Aqaba is seen in a white sleeveless gown while her husband wore a formal suit. Both of their tattoos are also prominent in the photos.
Aqaba Aqib is a graduate in Media and International Journalism from the University of Sussex in the UK.
On the other hand, Farzana Aqib is one of Pakistan’s leading English poets and writers. According to her social media profile, she has authored over 70 books of English poetry and has also received several international literary awards.
Aqib Javed is a former international cricketer for Pakistan and has also been a member of the Pakistan Cricket Board’s men’s national selection committee, in addition to coaching the national cricket team.
