LAHORE (Kashmir English): Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Director High Performance and member of the national cricket team’s selection committee, Aqib Javed, placed the responsibility for the defeat in the Test series against England on captain Babar Azam and coach Sarfaraz Ahmed.

On the unusual changes in the team, Aqib Javed said that some things are our responsibility as selectors, and we are ready to take responsibility for the squad, but the kind of team combination that is required during the tour was not being achieved.

Aqib Javed said that I also spoke to captain Babar Azam and coach Sarfaraz Ahmed in this regard.

Aqib Javed further said that when the coach and captain are unable to make decisions, someone has to take action. The world is laughing at us because we cannot compete.

He said that these changes will also send a message to the team that you should fix your playing XI according to the planning. Because the captain, coach, and management also have responsibilities.

Aqib Javed said that in the entire Pakistan cricket team, you will find very few players who can be given the leadership of the team.
