CALIFORNIA (Kashmir English): In a groundbreaking move, the tech giant Apple has launched the first-ever affordable iPhone 17e for tech lovers.

According to the details, the iPhone 17e looks similar to last year’s iPhone 16e. This phone has the A19 processor of the iPhone 17 inside, but the screen is slightly smaller, which is equipped with a 6.1-inch OLED display.

Instead of the dynamic island bar for the selfie camera on the front of the phone, the old notch design has been retained, in which the selfie camera is hidden.

According to the company, the performance of the A19 processor will be much faster, while AI processing has been improved.

Features, Availability, and Price of iPhone 17e

It will be available globally from March 11. Similarly, the phone has an Apple-developed C1X modem inside to speed up the internet speed.

Ceramic Shield 2 has been used to protect the phone, and the company claims that the screen will be more protected even if it falls.

The iPhone 17e has a single 48-megapixel camera on the back that can record 4K video. According to Apple, portrait photography has been further improved, while a 12-megapixel camera has been given on the front that supports Face ID.

The phone also has MagSafe support, which was not present in the iPhone 16e, so that fast wireless charging is possible.

Apart from this, there are also features like Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, water and dust resistance, satellite connectivity, and e-SIM support.

The phone will run the iOS 26 operating system, while Apple’s intelligence features will be available to users. The 256GB storage model of the phone will be sold for $599, while the 512GB version will be sold for $799.

The phone will be available in black, white, and a new soft pink color and will be available for sale globally from March 11.
