MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): In a groundbreaking move to protect women, the Mustafa Welfare Society has established an anti-harassment committee in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

The Mustafa Welfare Society aims to protect the female students studying in educational institutions, teachers, and women working in various government and private institutions.

According to the details, the Mustafa Welfare Society Azad Kashmir, has established an anti-harassment committee to prevent incidents of harassment of women every day and to provide protection to the oppressed girls and women of the society.

Members of the Anti-Harassment Committee

The anti-harassment committee consists of Samira Baig, Nomana Qureshi, Nuzhat Mujeeb, and Rukhsana Naveed.

President of Al-Mustafa Welfare Society, Azad Kashmir, Atiq Ahmed Kayani, told the media about the aims and objectives of the establishment of the Anti-Harassment Committee, that we aim to protect the oppressed women of the society.

Every day, incidents of harassment and blackmailing of girls studying in medical colleges, universities, private and government schools, as well as teachers, as well as women working in various government and private institutions are coming to light.

Girls and women feel hesitant to tell anyone about the mistreatment they are facing due to fear and shame. We have established an Anti-Harassment Committee of Al-Mustafa Welfare Society for such affected women and girls so that the affected women can inform the committee about their problems without any fear or hesitation.

The committee will provide all kinds of protection, including legal assistance, to the affected women and girls and bring the evils of society to justice.

We request the judiciary to fulfill the requirements of justice and immediately punish those who misbehave with women so that justice prevails. The Anti-Harassment Committee will take immediate action on any complaint.
