MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The residents of Azad Jammu and Kashmir are set to witness dry yet cold weather during the night. A light chilling wind will reduce the temperature across the region, making the night cooler.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. A shallow westerly trough is likely to affect the extreme north of the country.
The Met Office stated that dry weather is expected over most parts of the country, while cold in hilly areas.
Additionally, the residnets of Azad Kashmir have been urging the authorities to take the necessary measures to avoid any mishaps as fog and mist engulf the region with the arrival of winter.
Every year, several road accidents happen due to poor visibility as thick misty fog makes it nearly impossible for drivers to see.
