MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Forester Forest Guard Association Azad Kashmir has given the government a deadline of June 12 to resolve their demands.
If the demands are not met, the Forest department employees will go on strike and stop working, the association said in a statement.
The Forest Guard Association demanded the provision of service rules for field staff and graduate employees, with the restoration of their quota.
The association should be taken into consideration before formulating service rules to avoid conflicts and ensure fair treatment of employees, it added.
For that, the association has demanded to appoint a representative of the association as a member of the rules committee.
“If the demands are not accepted by June 11, 2025, the association will hold protests in all districts of Azad Kashmir starting from June 12, 2025,” it added.
