MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Election Commission has decided to conduct re-polling at 23 polling stations in constituencies LA-15 Bagh-2 and LA-16 Bagh-3.
According to the Election Commission spokesperson, the decision was taken in light of reports submitted by the respective returning officers.
Re-polling will be held on August 15, 2026, from 8 am to 5 pm at the designated polling stations. In LA-15 Bagh-2, re-polling has been ordered at 9 polling stations.
The Election Commission said results from 204 out of 213 polling stations had been received by the returning officer. The designated polling stations include 114, 135, 143, 144, 145, 146, 148 and 186, according to the details provided.
The information supplied lists eight station numbers despite stating that re-polling will be held at nine stations.
In LA-16 Bagh-3, re-polling has been ordered at 14 polling stations. Results from 172 out of 186 polling stations had been received by the returning officer.
The polling stations listed for re-polling are 28, 29, 40, 49, 50, 51, 77, 91, 109, 110, 111, 112, 119 and 143. The Election Commission has directed that polling at the affected stations will take place from 8 am to 5 pm on August 15.
