KOTLI (Kashmir English): The Deputy Commissioner’s Office Kotli has announced that all Assistant Commissioner offices across the tehsils will remain open from May 1 to May 3, 2026, despite the official holidays, to facilitate the public.
According to the spokesperson, the decision has been taken to ensure maximum convenience for citizens and to complete the voter list process on time. Officials said that voter verification activities will continue without interruption during these days, allowing eligible citizens to register, correct, or update their details.
The administration further stated that voter lists have been displayed at prominent locations in all Assistant Commissioner offices to enable citizens to verify their registration.
Residents have been urged to take full advantage of this opportunity and ensure timely verification and correction of their voter information to exercise their democratic rights effectively in the upcoming elections.
