ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Earthquake shakes Islamabad, parts of KP. Tremors have been felt in Islamabad, Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) today.
On Saturday afternoon, Islamabad and a number of districts in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Azad Kashmir were rocked by an earthquake.
Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Mardan, Attock, Muzaffarabad, and the neighboring areas all experienced tremors of the earthquakes.
According to the latest updates, the tremors felt today originated at 12:31PST. Its magnitude is reported as 5.5. The depth is 12Km according to the latest updates by the National Seismic Monitoring Centre of PMD. Latitude is being reported at 33.90 N, and the longitude at 72.66 E. The epicenter is reported as 60 km Northwest of Rawalpindi.
