ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq has said that the ongoing freedom struggle against India in Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) will be taken to its logical end despite all odds.

Addressing the day-long Kashmir Conference in the federal capital under the aegis of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) on Wednesday, the Prime Minister said, “We must not feel shy about using the word Jihad” as he emphasizing on moral and religious obligations towards Kashmir cause.

“The Holy Quran commands us to fight for the cause of God. I say this loud and clear everywhere. There is no need for fear or to speak in a softened tune. India will be given a befitting reply in occupied Kashmir if it does not stop supporting terrorists and terrorism in Balochistan,” he added.

The AJK premier said that the Indian intelligence agency RAW has unleashed the 5th generation war against Azad Kashmir to disintegrate Kashmiris and spread anarchy in the region.

“From Canada to Azad Kashmir, the Indian spying agency is engaged in conspiracies,” the PM said.

He, however, maintained that the government and the people of AJK won’t allow any such conspiracies to succeed.

COAS’ courageous stand on Kashmir issue

The PM paid tributes to the armed forces of Pakistan particularly Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir, for the courageous stand they took on the Kashmir issue.

He also thanked the people and government of Pakistan for their all-out support to Kashmiris’ legitimate political struggle for right to self-determination.

The success of the ongoing freedom movement hinges on the collective efforts of the Azad Kashmir government, political parties, and the Hurriyat leadership, he said, adding that there was a dire need to move forward collectively.

He, however, maintained that ups and downs were a part and parcel of every freedom movement.

“The freedom movements that flourish at the martyrs’ sacred blood are bound to succeed”, he said, adding that there was no concept of failure of movements that were launched purely for the establishment of the religion of God Almighty.

The army chief, he said, has clearly stated that “Pakistan has fought three wars on Kashmir and if 10 more wars are required, Pakistan will fight”.

“There is no weakness on the part of Pakistan on the Kashmir issue,” he remarked while stressing the need for taking practical measures to strengthen the ongoing freedom movement.

He said that the people of Kashmir have always offered sacrifices for Pakistan and were ready to lay down their lives to defend the territorial integrity of Pakistan.
