LAHORE (Kashmir English): As the replacement draft for the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) concludes, Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi have announced their replacement picks for the upcoming marquee tournament.

According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) statement, Peshawar Zalmi has drafted South African all-rounder George Linde as a full replacement for Corbin Bosch in the Diamond Category.

The replacement came after the South African player reportedly considered forgoing his PSL contract to join Mumbai Indians’ squad for the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL).

Moreover, in the replacement draft held online today, Islamabad United picked Australia’s Alex Carey as a partial replacement for Rassie van der Dussen in the Supplementary category.

“Due to personal matters, Dussen will be partially unavailable for PSL X. Islamabad United fully supports Rassie during this time,” the Islamabad United, three-time PSL champions, wrote in an Instagram post.

Meanwhile, Peshawar Zalmi has reserved their replacement for a Gold category pick instead of Nahid Rana, while Karachi Kings have also reserved their pick for Litton Das, who was selected in the Silver category.

“The replacement picks for New Zealand duo Mark Chapman and Kane Williamson, selected in the Platinum and Supplementary categories, respectively by Quetta Gladiators and Karachi Kings have also been reserved,” the press release read.
