MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): In a major development towards the advancement of Supreme Court of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chief Justice Raja Saeed Akram Khan has inaugurated the Information Technology Department at Supreme Court.
This initiative aims to make judicial affairs more transparent and effective through a digital system.
Senior Judge Supreme Court Justice Khawaja Muhammad Naseem and Justice Raza Ali Khan were also present at the inauguration ceremony. The Chief Justice, while inspecting the IT department, termed it a positive development and directed to make the monitoring system in the court more active.
He said that the judicial system will be made more effective and transparent through modern technology so that timely and better justice can be provided to the citizens.
Moreover, Chief Justice Raja Saeed Akram Khan chaired a meeting to review the arrangements for the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Supreme Court.
The meeting was attended by Senior Supreme Court Judge, including Justice Khawaja Muhammad Naseem and Justice Raza Ali Khan.
In the meeting, Secretary Information Sardar Adnan Khurshid briefed the Chief Justice about the special documentary regarding the Golden Jubilee of the Supreme Court. The Registrar Supreme Court also briefed the Chief Justice on the steps taken so far, on which the top judge expressed satisfaction.
