NEELUM (Kashmir English): Late at Saturday night, a terrifying landslide in Sheikh Bela Kel, a dangerous and difficult area of Azad Kashmir, brought a group of tourists to the brink of death.

Intense darkness, large rocks falling from the mountains, and crumbling paths increased the danger every moment, leaving the tourists helpless and awaiting aid in a struggle between life and death.

Upon receiving news of the incident, Kel Police immediately and effectively launched a rescue operation without any delay.

The operation, which began in the dead of night, was no less than a movie scene, where police officers risked their lives, navigating through continuously falling debris and difficult paths, and one by one, moved all the tourists to a safe location.

According to reports, more than 15 tourists were severely trapped in this dangerous situation, but the timely action of Kel Police averted a major potential tragedy.

The rescued tourists called Kel Police their true heroes, paying them immense tribute for their unparalleled service. The administration has advised tourists to exercise extreme caution while traveling during bad weather and landslides.
