MIRPUR (Kashmir English): An unfortunate mother namely Fazeelat Bibi, the widow of one Muhammad Azam, has sought protection to her life after she received threats from her real son – a cop.
Addressing a news conference at the Kashmir Press Club in Mirpur, Bibi accused his real son Parvez, an employee in AJK police, of making her life unbearable.
“Being a police man, he regularly uses abusive language besides physically assaulting her, causing an immense humiliation and threat to her life”, Fazeelat BiBi, a resident of Janyal village, said.
Complaint against cop son
Sharing her distressing experiences with the media-men, Fazeelat Bibi appealed to the SSP Mirpur, Commissioner, and Deputy Commissioner to provide her due protection besides penalising her son with severe punishment for his ‘extremely abusive character and immortal actions’.
She lamented that her son’s behaviour has disrupted her peaceful life, and she was now living in constant fear.
“Despite my repeated warnings, Parvez continues to harass and abuse me, leaving me with no choice but to seek help from the authorities,” Bibi said.
