ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): In a groundbreaking move, the National Cyber Emergency Response Team has launched an internship program for youth.
To prepare the workforce for the protection of Pakistan’s cyberspace, the National Cyber Emergency Response Team has launched a cybersecurity internship program.
Undergraduate students and recent graduates will receive 6 weeks of practical training. Applications for the internship program can be submitted online until June 16. The internship program will be for 6 weeks, and students and recent graduates are eligible.
The program includes training in incident response, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, governance, compliance, digital forensics, software testing, and AI development.
Interns will be provided with the opportunity to work with cybersecurity experts, interns will get practical experience working on real cybersecurity projects. Selected candidates will also be provided with training and mentorship from experts.
FOSPAH announces summer internship program 2026
The Federal Ombudsman Secretariat for Protection Against Harassment (FOSPAH) has announced its Summer Internship Program 2026 and invited applications from eligible students and recent graduates across the country.
According to details, the two-month internship program will run from June 15 to August 15, 2026. Final-year students and fresh graduates from the fields of law, public administration, information technology, and media are eligible to apply.
FOSPAH stated that the initiative aims to provide young professionals with practical exposure to the workings of a federal institution while enhancing awareness about the importance of safe, dignified, and equal-opportunity workplaces.
Officials said interns will have the opportunity to gain firsthand experience of government operations, develop professional skills, and contribute to various projects during the program.
The last date for submitting applications is June 5, 2026. Interested candidates can apply through the prescribed application form issued by the organization.
