KARACHI (Kashmir English): Pakistan Super League team Hyderabad Kingsmen batsman Usman Khan has become the player with the most centuries in PSL history.

On Wednesday, Usman Khan played a brilliant innings of 101 off 47 balls in a match against Multan Sultans in PSL 11, in pursuit of a target of 214.

This is the fourth century of Usman Khan’s PSL career. With this, he became the batsman with the most centuries in PSL history.

Usman Khan played a total of 33 matches in the Pakistan Super League, scoring 1 in 2023 and 2 centuries in 2024.

Thanks to Usman Khan’s brilliant century, Hyderabad Kingsmen achieved Multan Sultans’ target of 214 runs with 3 balls to spare.

Fakhar Zaman surpasses Babar Azam to set new PSL milestone

Lahore Qalandars’ star opener Fakhar Zaman not only led his team to victory against Quetta Gladiators with a match-winning century but also set a new PSL record, surpassing Babar Azam.

In the match against Quetta, Fakhar Zaman played a blazing innings of 103 off 50 balls, hitting 6 sixes and 11 fours, and was named the best player of the match.

With this honor, Fakhar Zaman has become the player who has won the most ‘Man of the Match’ awards in the history of PSL.

He has won this honor 14 times in 103 matches so far, while Babar Azam has been declared the best player of the match 9 times in 107 matches. Rylee Russo is in third position in this list.

Lahore Qalandars batted first in this match and had set a total of 197 runs thanks to Fakhar Zaman’s century. Chasing the target, Quetta Gladiators could score 188 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated overs, and Qalandars won the match by 9 runs.

For Lahore, Haris Rauf took 2 wickets, while captain Shaheen Afridi, Usama Mir, Sikandar Raza, and Obaid Shah took one wicket each.
