ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The first truck carrying transit goods from Kyrgyzstan has reached Pakistan’s Sost Dry Port, the first such movement by any Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) country through its own transport.
According to details, this important development was made possible by the National Logistics Corporation’s (NLC) partner company in Kyrgyzstan.

The move is being described as a major milestone, which will pave the way for better connectivity and trade promotion in the region.
According to sources, plans are also under consideration to extend this type of movement to the ports of Karachi, which will create new trade opportunities for the landlocked Central Asian countries.
