Op Ghazab Lil-Haq: Pakistan forces secure 32 Sq Km in Afghanistan’s Ghudwana Enclave

ZHOB (Kashmir English): In the Zhob sector, Pakistan Security Forces have taken control of approximately 32 square kilometers of territory across the border, named Ghudwana Enclave, in the ongoing Op Ghazab Lil-Haq.

According to security sources, the retaliatory action was carried out after repeated cross-border provocations targeting Pakistani posts. Officials stated that the response was “resolute and proportionate to the threat,” aimed at safeguarding territorial integrity and ensuring the security of border communities.

Earlier, Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar has said that 331 Afghan Taliban personnel were killed and more than 500 others were injured so far in the ongoing Operation Ghazab Lil-Haq.

Sharing an update regarding the Afghan Taliban losses on X, the minister added that the armed forces had destroyed 104 posts and captured 22 others.

Meanwhile, he said that 163 enemy tanks and armed vehicles have been destroyed, while 37 locations across Afghanistan were effectively targeted through air strikes.

Two posts captured in Shakhsiyat sector

Pakistan Army has captured two check posts of the Afghan Taliban regime in Shakhsiyat sector and hoisted the Pakistani flag. The Afghan Taliban abandoned their posts and fled.

According to the security sources, during the operation, 4 to 5 Afghan troops were killed, and 3 to 4 were injured.

Sources said that the operation was initiated by softening up the target. During this process, Afghan armed personnel were observed running backward into thick vegetation, and the same were engaged with all available weapons and mortars.
