ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistan Army is giving a strong response to the unprovoked border aggression by the Afghan Taliban, according to security sources.
The forces targeted the military bases and posts of the Afghan Taliban, as a result of which the Taliban suffered heavy casualties and financial losses.
The Afghan Charlie Post and the Afghan Babri Post were destroyed in the operations of the Pakistan Army, while the Afghan Border Terminal Post and the posts in the Warsak sector were also severely affected. At the same time, the Mano Jabba Post was also damaged.
During the counter-operation of the Pakistan Army, the Afghan Taliban were severely panicked, and many personnel fled, abandoning their vehicles.
The Pakistani army has captured the fleeing vehicles. According to security sources, this operation has been taken to respond to the unprovoked aggression in Afghanistan and to ensure border security.
133 Afghan Taliban killed, over 200 Injured
133 Afghan Taliban were killed, and more than 200 were injured in the attacks by the air force and ground forces. 27 posts have been destroyed, while 9 posts have been captured, and the Pakistani flag hoisted.
Five more posts have been captured in the Paktia region, and the Pakistani flag has also been hoisted. The captured posts include two opposite Shawal, two opposite Angor Adda, and one opposite Zarmalan.
Security sources say that Pakistan’s forces are ready at any moment to protect the border and are capable of giving a strong and immediate response to any kind of aggression.
The Pakistan Army’s operations are not only to ensure border security, but they are also a clear message to deter the Afghan Taliban from further aggression.
