ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Pakistan Army has achieved significant successes by targeting various Taliban hideouts in the border areas of Afghanistan.

During the recent operation on the southern border, several Taliban hideouts were heavily attacked, resulting in the killing of 20 Taliban and injuring 30 to 35.

During the operation, the Pakistan Army captured six important Taliban hideouts, including Afghan Post-2 and Afghan Post-3 in the Shawal sector, New NATO Post and Alpha Post in the Angor Adda sector, Jhanda Post in the Khamrang sector, and IAG-1 Post in the Zarmilan sector. The successful capture of these hideouts has strengthened the military strategy in the border areas and restricted the movements of the Taliban.

At the same time, five important Taliban hideouts were destroyed in the Angor Adda sector, including South Complex, Babri House, Afghan Border Terminal Complex, Afghani-Hind Post, and Afghan Old NATO Post.

Six other positions in Shawal and Angor Adda sectors were also damaged in further operations, including Zandawar Post, C Post, Radano, Watche, ABP-4, and ABP-5.

According to the Pakistan Army, this operation was carried out to maintain peace in the border areas, destroy Taliban hideouts, and strengthen regional security. After the operations, the situation in the border areas is under complete control, and Taliban movements have been limited.

These operations of the Pakistan Army are not only playing an important role in reducing the influence of the Taliban but are also proving helpful in providing a safe environment for the local community in the border areas. Military sources say that such operations will continue in the future as well to ensure border security and national security.
