ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Chaudhry Salik Hussain, who serves as the Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis, announced that authorities block passports of beggars who are deported from foreign countries.
Chaudhry Salik Hussain said that they do not want anyone to go abroad illegally, as there is no visa for begging. People use Umrah visas to travel to Saudi Arabia, where they engage in begging activities.
He explained that authorities have blocked passport access for thousands of people who committed different criminal offenses, and the passport prohibition will continue for five years.
Government policies require a clear definition, because business operations suffer from negative effects when policies undergo frequent modifications. The federal minister announced that Spain will grant residency status to 20000 Pakistani citizens.
The record number of Pakistanis who worked abroad during the past year raised remittance amounts that Pakistan received from overseas employment. Chaudhry Salik said that the authorities work to guarantee that all travelers possess essential soft skills before their international departures.
The Bureau of Immigration received complaints, and authorities established conditions that license holders must meet to obtain their licenses.
