ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistan has carried out limited and highly accurate precision strikes inside Afghanistan last night based on intelligence, according to security and intelligence sources.

This operation was carried out based on credible intelligence against Fitna al-Khawarij and other terrorist groups affiliated with them, who have claimed responsibility for attacks in Pakistan from time to time.

This operation was carried out against Pakistani terrorists who had taken refuge in Afghanistan after committing attacks on the people and security forces of Pakistan. In this regard, the impression of targeting Afghan citizens or security forces is a complete lie and propaganda.

7 hideouts of Fitna al-Khawarij destroyed in precision strikes

In these operations, 7 hideouts of Fitna al-Khawarij located in four locations, Nangarhar, Khost, Paktika, and Paktia, were targeted based on credible intelligence.

As a result of these operations, there are credible reports of the deaths of the operational-level leadership of Fitna al-Khawarij. In addition, there are reports of the killing of several terrorists in these centers of Fitna al-Khawarij.

Pakistan, with reliable information and complete evidence, has raised the issue of the presence of Fitna al-Khawarij and its affiliated sub-terrorist groups in Afghanistan with the Afghan Taliban regime. In the absence of serious efforts from Afghanistan, Pakistan took this action in view of its national security requirements.

Pakistan hopes that the Afghan Taliban regime will provide all possible cooperation to cleanse its territory of these terrorist groups, keeping in mind the issues related to Pakistan’s security.

These terrorists who target innocent people and mosques have no connection with Islam.

Security sources have clarified that there will be no compromise on the safety of civilians, and every attack will be responded to effectively and proportionately.

Pakistan expects the Afghan interim government to provide effective cooperation against terrorist elements, as these groups are enemies not only of Pakistan but also of Islam and peace in the region.
