ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Wednesday summoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and a Member of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Dr. Amjad Ali, in an assets beyond means case.
As per the details, the notice has been issued under Section 137 of the Election Act, 2017, regarding discrepancies found in the statement of assets and liabilities.
The electoral body has fixed the subject hearing on February 03, 2026, at 10:00 am, and instructed Dr. Amjad Ali to appear in person or through counsel before the ECP.
“Please take notice and be informed that the matter cited above in the subject has been fixed for hearing before the Election Commission of Pakistan on 03rd February, 2026 at 10:00 AM,” it added.
“You are, therefore, required to appear in person or through counsel before the Hon’ble Election Commission of Pakistan on the above-mentioned date and time in the Election Commission of Pakistan Secretariat, Constitution Avenue, G-5/2, Islamabad,” the notice reads.
