NIKIAL (Kashmir English): Students staged a protest demonstration against the severe staff shortage at Government Boys Inter College Karela Majhan, Tehsil Nikial, Fatehpur Thakyala on Wednesday.
The students blocked the road at Tarol and chanted slogans loudly, registering their protest against the administration.
According to details, educational activities were severely affected due to the shortage of teachers in the college, which led students to block the main road in protest.
Due to the road closure, long queues of vehicles were seen on both sides, and passengers faced severe difficulties.
Students demand appointment of teachers
The protesting students stated that higher authorities had been informed repeatedly about the staff shortage, but no practical steps have been taken so far to address the issue. The students demanded immediate appointment of teachers to secure their future.
Due to the protest, there is tension in the area, and public circles have also demanded immediate action from the responsible authorities.
