ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Nominations for the Pakistan Civil Awards 2026 are now open, with the federal government welcoming entries across the country until the deadline of April 15, 2026, according to the Cabinet Division.
“The Cabinet Division formally wrote letters to the heads of all the federal ministries, divisions, and attached departments, urging them to provide nominations for the highly esteemed national awards,” it added.
Moreover, the concerned authorities have requested participation and representation of the entire region of Pakistan through meetings with the chief secretaries of each province.
The awards are announced by the Government every year on August 14, which is celebrated as Independence Day. The government formally confers the Awards on March 23, which is celebrated as Pakistan Day.
The government bestows the Civil Awards upon those who have provided exemplary services to the people of Pakistan in different fields such as public services, education, health, science, arts, sports, and welfare.
To make it clear, these awards are not restricted to Pakistani nationals only. Even foreigners with outstanding performances and contributions to the country of Pakistan are granted these awards.
The Cabinet Division appealed to all concerned institutions to nominate worthy individuals in a well-documented manner.
