ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and discussed further strengthening the relations between the two countries.
According to a statement issued in this regard, discussions were held to further enhance cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
The statement said that this was Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s first visit to Pakistan as President of the UAE.
The UAE President was welcomed by the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, and Field Marshal.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan was accompanied by a high-level delegation of UAE officials.
In the meeting, the Prime Minister of Pakistan and the President of the UAE discussed the possibilities of further enhancing ties in various fields and the importance of increasing cooperation in investment, energy, IT and other sectors.

The two leaders discussed further strengthening the long-standing partnership between the two countries.
The leadership of both countries expressed satisfaction with the positive direction of bilateral relations. The meeting also reviewed the progress made in various fields of ongoing cooperation.
According to the statement, the two leaders also discussed important regional and global developments.
The two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to continue close communication on matters of mutual interest and expressed satisfaction with the positive progress in bilateral relations.
The two countries also reiterated their commitment to continue working together to achieve the common goals of peace, stability, and sustainable development.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan returned home after completing a one-day visit to Pakistan.
