ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The traffic diversion plan has been released by the Islamabad Police in connection with the forthcoming visit of the President of the United Arab Emirates to Pakistan.

For people driving from Rawat to the Express Highway, the route should be from the Rawalpindi-Peshawar Road, while for people driving from either the IJ Principal Road or the Srinagar Highway, the route should be through city service roads. Drivers are advised to take an additional 20-25 minutes for their commute.
In addition, a ban on heavy vehicles will be imposed in Islamabad on Friday, starting from 6:00 am till 12:30 am.
Traffic police officers will be stationed on major roads to aid movement, and residents are able to request help through the traffic hotline No. 1915 and No. 15.
