According to the report, after many years, Pakistan has again emerged with a prominent position in the global debate.

The army chief took a categorical stance that the authority to declare jihad lies only with the state, which the magazine called an important milestone against extremism. The report said that this clear message from the military leadership strengthened state discipline and writ.
