ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Today, on December 25, Pakistan is observing the 149th birth anniversary of the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
The nation is paying tribute to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan, the pioneer of faith, unity, and organization. The 149th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation is being celebrated today with great devotion, respect, and national enthusiasm across the country. On this occasion, there is a public holiday across the country, while various events are being organized at the official and non-official levels.
A grand change of guard ceremony is being held at the Quaid-e-Azam’s shrine on the occasion of the birth anniversary. The special guest of the ceremony is Major General Iftikhar Hussain Chaudhry (Hilal-e-Imtiaz). A well-dressed contingent of the Pakistan Army presented a salute at the Quaid-e-Azam’s shrine, expressing the nation’s respect and devotion to the Father of the Nation.
Various events throughout the day will pay tribute to the tireless and unforgettable services rendered by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah for the establishment of the Muslims of India and Pakistan. The struggle, sacrifices, and leadership of the Father of the Nation are being highlighted in these events.
Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was born on December 25, 1876, in Karachi. He was a lawyer and a politician by profession. Through his leadership skills, he turned the dream of an independent state into reality. The principles based on faith, unity, and organization are considered the essence of his life. The Father of the Nation proved through his character and actions that true and honest leadership can change the destiny of nations.
In the presence of politicians like Nehru, Patel, and Gandhi, Quaid-e-Azam led the nation to the destination of Pakistan. Quaid-e-Azam’s dream was of a Pakistan where every individual enjoys equal rights and freedom.
He gave Muslims a separate homeland based on the two-nation theory, which proved to be a turning point in history. This great favor of his towards Muslims can never be forgotten.
On the occasion of his birth anniversary, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. In his message, the Prime Minister said that Quaid-e-Azam taught guiding principles like equality, religious harmony, social tolerance, and justice without any discrimination.
Pakistan Armed Forces, Army Chief, and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir also paid tribute to the Father of the Nation. The Pakistan Armed Forces reiterated their unwavering commitment to Quaid-e-Azam’s vision of a strong, sovereign, democratic, and prosperous Pakistan and expressed their determination to play a full role in national stability, peace, and development.
