Nation celebrates Quaid-e-Azam’s birth anniversary today

ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The 149th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, is being celebrated today with great devotion, respect, and national enthusiasm.

Today is a public holiday across the country on the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation. Events will be held throughout the day at both the official and unofficial levels, in which tribute will be paid to the tireless and unforgettable services rendered by the Father of the Nation for the establishment of Muslims of India and Pakistan.

Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was born on December 25, 1876, in Karachi. He was a lawyer and a politician by profession. He served as the leader of the All-India Muslim League from 1913 until Pakistan’s independence, and then as Pakistan’s first Governor General until his death on September 11, 1948

He turned the dream of an independent state into reality with his leadership skills. The principles of faith, unity, and organization are the essence of the Quaid’s life. The Father of the Nation showed the whole world through his character and actions what true and honest leadership can do.

Despite politicians like Nehru, Patel, and Gandhi, Quaid-e-Azam led the nation to the destination of Pakistan. Quaid-e-Azam’s dream was a Pakistan where every individual enjoys equal rights and freedom.

Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is among the few figures in the world who turned the tide of history and gave Muslims a separate homeland on the basis of the two-nation theory. This great favor he did to Muslims can never be forgotten.

PM message on Quaid Day

Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, in his message to the nation on the 149th birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam, said that the entire nation pays heartfelt tribute to the Father of the Nation on this occasion.

He said that Quaid-e-Azam’s birth anniversary is a day of renewal of commitment and implementation of his guiding principles at the individual and national levels is indispensable.

The Prime Minister said that Quaid-e-Azam taught the lesson of harmony and justice without discrimination of color, race, and religion, while faith, unity, and discipline are the guarantee of a bright national future.

According to him, Quaid-e-Azam is a beacon of light for the coming generations, and his political vision made the establishment of Pakistan possible.

Shahbaz Sharif said that Quaid-e-Azam turned the tide of history and turned the dream of Muslims into reality, fought for a free, independent, and welfare state, and defeated the imperialist forces.

The Prime Minister urged the nation to renew its resolve today to follow in the footsteps of Quaid-e-Azam and work unitedly for the dignity, security, and prosperity of the nation.
