RAWALPINDI (Kashmir English): Security forces killed 9 Indian-backed Fitna-ul-Khawarij in two separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
As per the ISPR, security forces killed 4 terrorists in an operation in Dera Ismail Khan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The statement said that the second operation by the forces was carried out in Bannu district, where 5 terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire.
According to the ISPR, arms and ammunition were also recovered from the possession of the slain Indian-backed terrorists.
The terrorists were active in several terrorist operations against security forces, law enforcement agencies and innocent civilians.
The statement said that the security forces and law enforcement agencies are continuing the clearance operation.
