Resentment against current PTI leadership

On Sunday, PTI leader and senior lawyer Qazi Anwar Advocate announced his resignation from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, saying the current party leadership disrespected him, which caused him severe mental anguish.

In his statement issued from Peshawar, Qazi Anwar Advocate said that in view of this situation, he is leaving the party in protest, adding his personal relationship with the founder of PTI will remain intact.

According to Qazi Anwar Advocate, the party is not acting upon the manifesto on which Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf was founded.

The senior lawyer further said that he served the party for a long time, but in the current circumstances, it is no longer possible to remain associated with PTI.

It should be noted that Qazi Anwar Advocate was also the president of Insaf Lawyers Forum Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, and he was also a member of several committees of PTI, including the core committee.

It is worth noting that earlier, PTI leader Major (R) Tariq Mahmood from Azad Kashmir announced his departure from the party over its anti-military narrative.

Major (R) Tariq Mahmood was the president of PTI from Samahni Tehsil, Bhimber District, in the state.
