LAHORE (Kashmir English): A Lahore resident continues to receive e-challans for a motorcycle that was stolen in 2024, indicating that the two-wheeler is still being driven on the city streets.

Ali Hameed son of Abdul Hameed has received multiple e-challan for traffic violations despite a police case registered last year and the vehicle remaining unrecovered.

No recovery but e-challan

According to police records, the motorcycle was stolen from the Raiwind area last year, and an FIR was registered at Raiwind police station in February 2024. However, the owner has since received multiple e-challans, including a recent one.

The issuance of e-challans indicate that the bike is still being driven on the streets of Lahore. However, the police themselves appear helpless in locating it, leaving the citizen distressed.
