LAHORE (Kashmir English): Three Pakistanis have returned home after being released from Indian custody.

According to a spokesperson for the Pakistani High Commission, the names of the released citizens are Asghar Ali, Ramzan and Muhammad Idrees, who came to Pakistan through the Wagah-Attari border.

The spokesperson said that the Pakistani High Commission will continue efforts for the release of all Pakistani prisoners in India so that the remaining prisoners can also meet their families soon.

The Pakistani High Commission team welcomed the prisoners at Wagah-Attari and facilitated their repatriation process.

Officials say that the government of Pakistan and the High Commission are in constant contact for the rights and security of Pakistani nationals in India.

This incident is being seen as a success of bilateral cooperation and ongoing efforts to resolve the problems of the prisoners, with the families of the citizens also expressing happiness over their return home.
